1. When is the Festival?

July 12th and 13th, 2025.


2. When and where is 12 hr Kirtan?

July 11th, 2025 at the Hare Krishna Temple located at 243 Avenue Rd in Toronto.


3. Is there a fee for the 12 Hr Kirtan?

No, this is a free event, but donations are more than welcome!


4. Where does the Parade start?

At the intersection of Yonge St & Edward St.


5. How do I get to the Parade start site?

Take the TTC and exit at Dundas Station, then head north on Yonge St. If you choose to drive, we recommend selecting a parking lot along the lakeshore close to the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal so you can easily drive home after a long day of celebrations!


6. When does the parade start?

11 am


7. When does the parade end?

Expect the parade to end between 1 pm – 1:30 pm.


8. Where is the festival site on Toronto Islands?

Centre Island, right off the ferry dock.


9. How do we get to Centre Island?

  • You can use the public ferry and purchase a round ticket to travel to the island and back to the mainland

  • You can use a private water taxi, for more information, please visit https://www.piratetaxi.ca

11. I really want to volunteer this year, but the form is closed. How can I volunteer for this year?

Our volunteer opportunities are always in high demand, but we only have limited spots. For 2025, the volunteer registration form is coming soon, please stay tuned.


12. Are there vegan food options available at the festival site?

Yes! Just let us know that you’re vegan when you grab your free plate!

15. What do I need to bring for Yoga Meltdown

Your yoga mat, a water bottle and your positive energy!


16. I would like to perform on the main stage, how do I start the process?

Our staging program is jam packed with all kinds of artistic performances and has limited slots. We begin the casting process early in the year, so to increase your chances of securing a slot, we recommend reaching out sometime in April. Please reach out to stage@festivalofindia.ca
