Anuttama Das

Anuttama Das serves as ISKCON’s International Director of

Communications and a Governing Body Commission

member. His spiritual journey began with deep questioning

and exploration—from Zen Buddhism to Methodism—until he

discovered bhakti yoga in 1975. He became a disciple of

Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in 1976. He is active in

several interfaith initiatives in Washington, D.C., including the

Religion Communicators Council. He is also active in several

religious freedom initiatives and networks with government

and NGOs in Washington to promote religious freedom

around the world. As a skilled communicator and educator, he

has taught various seminars worldwide on leadership,

management, communications, and more.
